Walk Don’t Run
Posted on April 20th, 2010 in Advice
You’d think I’d have learned by now to “walk not run” down the stairs. Well I guess I hadn’t…until yesterday. I stupidly ran down the stairs and tripped on the final two steps. I’ve learned my lesson this time after five hours in Emergency, several gruelling x-rays with a final diagnosis of a chipped ankle bone along with my bruised pride. I’m a complete spaz at using the crutches and the pain killers are messing with my head!
So folks, under the circumstances, I have no other words of wisdom to extoll upon you this week except…WALK DON’T RUN! See you next Tuesday provided I follow my own advice!

Hi Kathryn:
You know the old saying that misery loves company? Well, unfortunately….Being a clutz runs in our family…Last week my Uncle Sonny went on a date. He goes to ring the door bell and falls in the womans bushes!!! She comes to the door only to find Sonny in the bushes! We howled…Now, you were just in a hurry…How about the rest of us? I hope you recover soon my friend…I’d like to ad one foot note…Look down when you are walking…I stubbed my big toe yesterday…Someone said to me don’t you look down when you walk? Walk don’t run and look down…Be safe my friend…Lot’s of sunshine to you…Love You Always, Cindy.

Cindy, poor Uncle Sonny! I hope it wasn’t a rose bush …
Sorry about your toe! Walk, don’t run, look up, look down…I think I’ll stay seated! Thanks for sharing your story! Kathryn
