Make Some “Happy” in 2012
My Favourite Photo of 2011
I can’t count the number of times I’ve said “Have a Happy New Year” to folks I’ve seen during the holiday season. Was 2011 “happy” for you? Despite the heartache of coping with the passing of one of my sweet little Yorkies, I can say with confidence that I made some “happy” in 2011.
If you have to stretch your brain to come up with some happy times from the past year that’s ok too. I’ve found that one of the best ways to take your “happy times inventory” is to look back at your photos.
Maybe you don’t take pics but chances are someone you know does and you’re likely in some of those photos. Check out Facebook. You’re bound to find yourself in one of your friends’ pics on FB.
Revel in the good times! Dig deep if you have to BUT COME UP WITH SOMETHING THAT MADE YOU SMILE IN 2011!
All the very best in 2012 and start making some happy right now!

Wonderful photo! I’m so sorry about your Yorkie, I had to take my mom’s cat of 14 year to be put down the day after Christmas, It was horrible. They really do become part of your family.
Good job finding the Happy! I actually hate being tagged in Facebook pictures because sometimes I would have preferred not knowing that picture existed lol.

Hi Sonia, I’m so sorry about your mom’s cat! How is your mom? It’s so sad when we have to make such heartbreaking decisions about our best friends (cats and dogs). Take care! 2012 will be better! Kathryn

2011 was a year of plenty of happiness but also some personal struggles. I agree that “happy” should be a goal for everyone. We often focus on the “success” goals too heavily & forget that success alone will not bring happiness.

Hi Karyn, we do get so caught up in business and how we define “happy.” Some days happy to me is five minutes to myself with a hot cup of tea…
Life is what we make it! Happy New Year, Karyn! Let us know when you’re on Dragons Den this year…thanks to you the TV is mine on Wednesday nights…

Hey K
Great happy times spent this year with family and friends. I am so blessed to be able to even say that. I have some awesome pictures of great times this year. My Facebook, scrapbook and computer are filled with so many happy & funny memories. I feel that I had the opportunity to smile & laugh so much this year. Things seamed to move at a slower pace and I was able to “stop and smell the roses” you might say.
I must say I did not have to “wake up the happiness” this year…some personal struggles and missing loved ones not with us anymore, but all and all a great year.
I am heading into 2012 on the right track and with the right mind set. Wishing all my friends and family Good Health and Happiness. As I get older I am finding more reasons to wish good health to poeple. Health and happiness are the most important things to me in my time of life.
This year we usher out the old and ring in the new. And more–much more–can change than simply the dates on the calendar. You can resolve to change your entire life…or any aspect of yourself and your
experience that you choose.
And should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind? NO. Keep old friends near and old loves dear, for they will help you make those changes in your life that will produce miracles, if you let them.
Happy, Happy New Year!
The saying, “life is too short” is so true and I am making the best of it.
So cheers my friend!
Let’s lift our glasses to the good times.
And many many many more to come.
